Consiste no estabelecimento de uma rede de vários locais de amostragem dispersos pelo país onde, de uma forma coordenada, se faz a amostragem destes insetos com recurso a um método estandardizado baseado em armadilhas luminosas.

The Rede de Estações de Borboletas Nocturnas (REBN) is an environmental education project for moth conservation in Portugal. It consists of establishing a network of several sampling sites spread across the country where, in a coordinated manner, these insects are sampled using a standardized method based on light traps.

A VALORCAR é uma entidade privada, sem fins lucrativos, licenciada pelo Estado Português como entidade gestora dos fluxos de Veículos em Fim de Vida (VFV) e de Resíduos de Baterias e Acumuladores (RBA), e entidade de registo de produtores/importadores de baterias e acumuladores a nível nacional.
A principal missão da VALORCAR é responder aos desafios da legislação comunitária e nacional sobre gestão de VFV e de RBA, organizando a receção, o tratamento e a valorização destes resíduos, e promovendo a melhoria do desempenho ambiental, económico e social da sua gestão em Portugal.
A Agência Portuguesa do Ambiente atribuiu à VALORCAR o registo PT-000108 no EMAS (Sistema Comunitário de Ecogestão e Auditoria) em Junho de 2013, certificando assim que a empresa tem uma gestão ambiental adequada e que cumpre com as obrigações definidas nas suas licenças. A EDZ – Environmental Consulting, Lda. foi fundada em Setembro de 2007 para dar resposta à necessidade crescente em Portugal de consultoria experiente na investigação e gestão de solos contaminados e outros passivos ambientais.
A empresa conta com a experiência adquirida ao longo de mais de 25 anos na Europa e nos E.U.A., incluindo a participação nalguns dos projectos de descontaminação de solos de maior expressão e envergadura em Portugal, nomeadamente: Expo’98, Estaleiros Navais da Lisnave (Almada), Quimiparque (Barreiro) e Siderurgia Nacional (Seixal).
A experiência adquirida com estes e muitos outros projectos permite-nos oferecer aos nossos clientes um conjunto de serviços que vão desde o planeamento e a execução de estudos preliminares (Fase I) e investigações detalhadas (Fase II) de locais potencialmente contaminados, à preparação de cadernos de encargos, fiscalização de trabalhos de campo, revisão independente de relatórios (Peer Review), monitorização a longo prazo, bem como à identificação e implementação de soluções de remediação.
