Dimitri House is a Rochester, New York-based non-profit organization dedicated to providing vital support to individuals and families experiencing food and housing insecurity. For over 40 years, we’ve been serving the Greater Rochester community with compassion and dedication, offering a spectrum of services including a Drop-in Lunch Program, Emergency Food Cupboard, and Affordable Safe Housing (DASH). We strive to empower our neighbors on their journey toward self-sufficiency, embodying a commitment to dignity and respect. Dimitri House’s impact extends to over 16,000 individuals annually, reflecting our unwavering mission to create a community where no one goes hungry or lacks a safe place to call home.

Founded in 1985 in honor of Dimitri Mamczur, a local man who lived in two taped-together cardboard boxes under an expressway bridge, Dimitri House has grown from a small outreach ministry to a recognized provider of comprehensive support. Our personalized approach, with a dedicated team and limited full-time staff, allows us to cultivate deep connections with our clients and offer tailored assistance.

Dimitri House operates five key programs: Drop-in Lunch Program, Emergency Food Cupboard, Dimitri Affordable Safe Housing (DASH), Mamczur Place, and Adopt-a-Family Thanksgiving Program. We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN 16-1587868) and continue to honor Dimitri’s legacy by serving those in need with love and acceptance.

Utah Recycling Alliance is a leading nonprofit organization based in Salt Lake City, Utah, dedicated to fostering a zero-waste culture statewide. We empower individuals, businesses, and communities through education, outreach, and innovative programs like CHaRM events – collecting and repurposing hard-to-recycle materials. Our work directly addresses the growing need for sustainable waste management solutions in Utah. We collaborate with municipalities and organizations to implement effective recycling strategies and promote resource conservation. Utah Recycling Alliance focuses on reducing landfill waste and preserving Utah’s natural beauty.

We’ve established unique programs like the CHaRM events, which collect over 30 different types of materials that can’t typically be recycled curbside, and the Fix-It Clinic, teaching residents valuable repair skills. These initiatives are crucial for shifting away from a ‘throw-away’ mentality and building a more circular economy.

Graced to Serve is a nonprofit organization based in Montgomery, Alabama, dedicated to serving disadvantaged and unhoused individuals across Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. We bridge the gap by providing essential life necessities, youth support, and mentorship. Up and Atom Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Spokane Valley, Washington, dedicated to providing accessible science education and fostering community well-being. We address a critical need in the Inland Northwest by creating the region’s first-of-its-kind indoor sanctuary and STEAM park, offering a calming, nature-filled space for children, teens, and adults to connect, learn, and find respite. Our mission is to make science and educational content free and accessible to everyone, with a special focus on underserved communities. We are supported by the generosity of our donors, who believe in our mission and help us to achieve our goals.

Born from a mother’s experience navigating Spokane’s winters, we recognized the lack of accessible indoor spaces for families seeking connection and support. We’ve built an indoor sanctuary and STEAM park rooted in trauma-informed principles and inclusive design, prioritizing mental wellness and creative discovery.

MLK Committee of Ventura County is a non-profit organization based in Oxnard, California, dedicated to honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We champion awareness, unity, and community achievement throughout Ventura County. Our annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day celebration, including the ‘Freedom March’ and Observance program, serves as a vital platform for recognizing positive impact and inspiring civic engagement. We are committed to upholding Dr. King’s principles of justice and equality, fostering a more equitable society for all residents.

The Committee’s core mission is to provide continuous awareness of Dr. King’s life, leadership, and lasting impact, and to celebrate his dream through our annual Birthday Observance. We actively enlighten and enrich the community by highlighting local leaders and promoting educational opportunities. Our annual event, held at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center, draws a diverse crowd and serves as a cornerstone of community engagement.

Brightside Finance Foundation is a student-led non-profit organization dedicated to providing free financial literacy programs across Texas and beyond. We empower individuals of all ages – from elementary school students learning about saving to adults planning for retirement – with the knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions. Our mission is to bridge the financial literacy gap and foster financial confidence within communities. We offer tailored curricula for various age groups, including Money Sprouts for elementary students, Smart Start for middle and high schoolers, and Financial Foundations for adults.

Brightside Finance Foundation was founded in 2026 with a clear vision: to address the significant lack of financial literacy in the United States. Since then, we've grown to serve over 200 individuals and have expanded our reach through partnerships with schools, libraries, and community centers.
