UCI HyperXite is a nonprofit engineering team based in Irvine, California, dedicated to advancing the future of sustainable transportation.

Founded in 2015 at the University of California Irvine, HyperXite is a team of undergraduate students focused on building a Hyperloop pod. We research, design, build, and validate a small-scale pod using a LIM to be tested on our own test track.

Through participation in competitions like the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competitions and Hyperloop Global Competitions, HyperXite has consistently achieved top rankings, including 1st place in Guidance System, Levitation, and Presentation at the Canadian Hyperloop Global event. Our commitment to innovation and zero-emission transportation makes us a leader in the Hyperloop space.
