The Wensleydale Creamery continues the art of traditional cheese-making which dates back nearly a thousand years, using milk from over 40 local farms to handcraft their delicious range of cheeses. It is the milk from these farms, together with the Creamery’s own starter cultures and the skill of its cheese-makers that give Yorkshire Wensleydale its unique, creamy, crumbly and full of flavour taste, that no other cheese-maker can match. Yorkshire Wensleydale can be found in all the major UK food retailers and independent shops and delis around the country, as well as in number of countries worldwide. 2014 saw sales development into countries such as Kuwait, Singapore, Dubai and Australia, with even bigger plans for 2015. The Wensleydale Creamery is also home to a popular visitor centre where visitors can enjoy the Wensleydale Cheese Experience. Featuring a museum and cheese-making viewing gallery offering visitors the opportunity to learn all about Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese, they can then sample the finished results in the cheese shop & deli as well as tasty homemade dishes in the restaurant and coffee shop. OMIROS is a dairy products industry operating in Trikala, Thessaly. OMIROS was founded by the Giannitsi family in 1984 and was named after the Ancient Greek poet Homer (Omiros in Greek), who made the earliest reference to the cheese we now call “FETA” in the text of his “Odyssey”. According to the legend, Polyphemus the Cyclops became the first cheesemaker when he accidentally discovered that the milk he had been storing in sheepskin bags would clot and become edible. That is how the production of feta cheese began in Ancient Greece. The family has been producing cheese products of exceptional taste and quality for five generations. The production of OMIROS products is based on traditional techniques of the local cheese makers, while the authenticity of their taste is hard to find these days. In the 35 years of its operation, OMIROS dairy products industry has managed to surpass the limits of a small family business and follow a sustainable and successful growth path, securing a prominent and well-deserved position in the dairy sector in Greece and abroad. TRIKALON DAIRY FACTORY - TRIKKI S.A. was founded in 1960 by the Agricultural Bank and the Union of Cattle Breeding Unions of Western Thessaly. It was established on 16/11/2012 resulting from the conversion of the "joint venture of associations of agricultural cooperatives of Trikala - Karditsa SYN.P.E." in accordance with the provisions of articles 6 and 19 of Law 4015/2011. The name is borrowed from the Homeric name of the city of Trikala, Trikki. The primary goal was and remains the maintenance of high quality standards at all stages of production, which is also confirmed by the product quality and hygiene certificates: ISO 9001-ISO 22000 (HACCP). Exclusively local Greek milk from cooperative producers is processed, which is collected daily from livestock units in Western Thessaly certified for the non-use of genetically modified animal feed. Against the era of questioning what is genuine and good, TRIKKI SA. contrasts not only its good reputation but also its own good products. The dairy industry of "TRIKKI SA" you will find it at the 2nd km of the Trikala-Karditsa National Road on the outskirts of the town of Trikala. It is housed in modern building facilities with a total area of 6,000 sq.m which, among others, include: Milk receiving and quality control department. Cheese making department, packing room, cold rooms, yogurt production department, bottled products production department, organic department. The technological equipment is the most modern and its operation is based on the most sophisticated application systems in the industry. It was 1950 when Staphanos Kalandaridis, a descerndant of an Asia Minor refugee family with a deep and long tradition in the dairy industry, decided to enter the sector of cheesemaking. Under harsh conditions and armed with an intense will to bring the family tradition to the fore, he started his business in a small factory in the village of Simantra, Chalkidiki, a region very well-known for its excellent milk quality. This allowed the faster introduction of the raw materials, their immediate processing as well as the appropriate cooperation and the creation of strong bonds with stockbreeders with which the company has been and still is cooperating. In the beginning the company devoted its production to feta. A few years later, the littlee building where the cheese factory used to operate could no longer cover the continually growing needs of the company. In 2007, Mr Athanasios Klandaridis transferred the compoany in the new facilities where it is still operating. The new factory is equiped with the most sophisticated machines bought from other European countries and production takes place on a industrial level according to hygiene rules (IFS 6.1) and to the same traditional methods and recipes we have brought with us from Cappadocia. Thus, the new products acquire the same scope as the Kaseri cheese, reminding to those trying it of the traditional taste and original aroma. Goat cheese and pepper cheese are distinguished by their unique taste; Kefalotyri for its saganaki version, yoghurt for its slight acidity and the Whey cheeses for being more fat-free but still equally tasty. It should also be mentioned that the characteristic taste of our products is also owed to the fact that we only use sheep and goat milk, as well as that our company has never used other preparations.

Φρόντισε από την αρχή να τους εξασφαλίσει τις καταλληλότερες συνθήκες σταβλισμού και, όταν το 1986 ξεκίνησε ως «ο γαλατάς της γειτονιάς», διακρίθηκε γρήγορα για την ποιότητα του γάλακτος. Έμεινε δραστήριος ως και το 1997, όταν η επιχείρηση πέρασε στα χέρια του γιου του, Γεωργίου Δαλαμήτρα. Με αγάπη και μεράκι για την αγελαδοτροφία, ο Γεώργιος εκσυγχρόνισε την παραγωγή γάλακτος, δημιουργώντας σε νέα τοποθεσία, στους πρόποδες του Ολύμπου, μια πρότυπη αγελαδοτροφική μονάδα ευρωπαϊκών προδιαγραφών, αυξάνοντας σημαντικά το ζωικό κεφάλαιο. Σήμερα, η Μαρία και ο Θοδωρής, συνεχίζοντας την οικογενειακή παράδοση ως τρίτη γενιά της οικογένειας Δαλαμήτρα, επιμένουν σε αυτό που μάθανε από τον παππού τους: να διατηρήσουν ζωντανή τη συναισθηματική, γευστική και ποιοτική κληρονομιά των γαλακτοκομικών προϊόντων τους.
