I remember the day I started my first graduate job in the financial industry in London. It was a pretty good place to be in, or as one person on the initial training would say: “You should be proud you are here today.” Those words did make me feel a bit special for a few moments. Then back to work…

Outside of work, I had started thinking about entrepreneurship and was already diving into a stack of books on the topic. I was also deeply inspired by my father, who has over 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur and small business owner.I’ve always loved speaking with him about his companies. During one of those conversations, we talked about the challenges he was facing with one of his ventures, particularly the difficulty of finding new suppliers and buyers.

He had spent hours Googling, combing through online directories, cold emailing, and investing heavily in SEO and digital marketing, but the results were disappointing. The only successful deals had come through personal connections in his existing network.We thought: There must be a better way. How amazing would it be to have one place where you could search for the exact product or service you need, and contact the right person at the company directly?

That’s when the idea for Enterprise League was born.
